Neverness to Everness Version 1.5 Launches November 11 With S-Rank Esper Elyms, Auto-Drive Free Roam, and Tank Battles

Neverness to Everness V1.5 Elyms PS5

With just three days left before its next major content drop, developer Hotta Studio and publisher Perfect World Games are ramping up the spotlight on Hethereau. Today, November 8, 2026, PlayStation released the official gameplay trailer for Elyms, the new S-Rank Esper headlining the Neverness to Everness (NTE) Version 1.5 update, titled "Once Upon a Glitched Call," which launches on November 11, 2026 across PlayStation 5, PC (client download, Steam, and Epic Games Store), iOS, and Android.

Far more than a routine character banner rotation, Version 1.5 expands the free-to-play supernatural urban open-world RPG with a new main story episode set inside a corrupted digital sea, two drivable heavy tanks, an Auto-Drive Free Roam mode, and hardware rendering upgrades featuring NVIDIA RTX Spark on PC and Snapdragon ANF on mobile.

Elyms and Exe: Skill Kits, Version 1.5 Banner Schedule, and New Outfits

Showcased in the new PS5 trailer cruising through Hethereau and chaining spatial attacks, Elyms serves as the lieutenant of the Bureau's ETD-6 (TOI-6) squad. Known for her cheerful, mischievous personality and her habit of constantly scrolling on her phone, she is an S-Rank Cosmos (Space) element character designed as a Burst Sub-DPS and team buffer.

Her combat rotation revolves around her Instant Cycle character trait: activating her Redirect Skill (Intermittent Existence and Goodbye to You) immediately fills her Esper Meter, allowing squads to trigger Esper Cycle reactions without downtime. Depending on the signal state of her Dreamworn Terminal, her basic attack shifts between the 5-hit Instant Glitch combo (Weak Connection) and the faster 3-hit Crosstalk combo (Medium or Strong Connection). Unleashing her Ultimate cashes in her Connection Strength for heavy Cosmos damage, grants teammates an ATK buff scaling off her Base ATK, and leaves persistent off-field coordinated attacks active after she swaps out.

As outlined during the Version 1.5 Special Program, all Limited Boards share the same S-Class character pity counter, Points Gift progress, and Board Modification progress, reflecting a broader Free-to-Play market shift where open-world gacha RPGs are overtaking traditional PC and console genres:

  • Phase 1 (November 11 to December 2, 2026): Features Elyms on the Android Dreams Limited Board alongside her signature weapon Arc Echoes on Hold (Echo Special), paired with a rerun for Shinku on the Before the Dawn board (Resolve Special: Blushing Mirage).
  • Phase 2 (December 2 to December 23, 2026): Introduces ETD-6 Captain Exe, an S-Rank Chaos character headlining the Offline Equations board (Encryption Special: Dotted Horizon) whose combat kit tracks frame-data precision and combat letter grades. She runs alongside a Chaos rerun on the Forsaken Path board (Pursuit Special: What's Desired).
  • Six New Character Outfits: Elyms receives YSK Mystique (Mall), Drifting Petals (Skin Perks roll milestones), and Windflower (unlocked for free at Bond Level 10). Exe receives Untouched by Rain (Mall), Blue Snow (Skin Perks), and X% (Bond Level 10).

Main Episode "Meet Me in the Data Stream," Tank Battles, and Auto-Drive Free Roam

On the story front, Version 1.5 introduces the main episode "Meet Me in the Data Stream" and the new "Invalid Number" Anomalous Realm. The mystery begins when the "Etero Urban Legends Bot" on the Bagel network reposts an old entry titled Wrong Number: residents across Hethereau dream of an old friend and wake up with a non-existent phone number stuck in their heads. Dialing it pulls Elyms, Exe, and the Appraiser into a surreal network-space anomaly filled with retro operating-system rooms, sunken city blocks beneath a digital sea, and the new Amber Broodmother Anomaly Pilgrimage boss.

Neverness to Everness Version 1.5 Once Upon a Glitched Call
Neverness to Everness Version 1.5 "Once Upon a Glitched Call" blends cyberspace anomalies, heavy armored vehicles, and rendering upgrades on November 11, 2026.

For urban exploration, Hotta Studio is adding two heavy vehicles obtainable through Mystery Boxes: the Iron Ogre tank and the Prototype Land Overlord 001. Players can immediately test the Iron Ogre in Full Tank Ahead (November 11 to December 23), a king-of-the-hill tank warfare event, alongside the trucking management event City Logistics (November 11 to December 23), the city-building card game Tycoon's Deck (December 2 to December 23), and Hunter's Crucible. Completing quests in Fortune's Bounty up to 6,000 Fortune Coins also unlocks Fabricated and Solid Dice, the Tiny Friend accessory, and the Pop-Up Divination House open-world interactable.

NVIDIA RTX Spark, Snapdragon ANF, and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Arriving just one day ahead of Wuthering Waves Version 3.8 on November 12, Neverness to Everness Version 1.5 also delivers notable technical and quality-of-life upgrades across platforms:

  • NVIDIA RTX Spark on PC and Snapdragon ANF on Mobile: The PC build adds support for NVIDIA RTX Spark to enhance ray-traced lighting and image stability, while supported Qualcomm mobile devices gain Snapdragon ANF (Adreno Neural Fusion) rendering support.
  • Auto-Drive Free Roam Mode: Vehicle auto-drive can now cruise freely through Hethereau without requiring a set waypoint on the map, letting players sit back and enjoy the city skyline.
  • Quick-Buy Furniture and Overflow Storage: Importing a housing Blueprint now includes a Quick-Buy option for missing furniture, while a new Overflow Storage system preserves excess City Stamina and Character Pixels beyond the daily cap.
  • Volley Star PvP Ranks and Shadow-n-Seek AI: Volley Star introduces competitive Player-versus-Player ranking tiers, and Shadow-n-Seek now populates matches with AI opponents after extended matchmaking times alongside randomized prop spawns.

My Perspective

What keeps Neverness to Everness so refreshing next to other open-world gacha heavyweights is how shamelessly it leans into its urban sandbox playground. Jumping straight from a creepy urban-legend mystery inside a glitched operating system to a king-of-the-hill tank brawl or a hands-free cruise through Hethereau breaks up the daily grind in the best way. Between Elyms' instant Esper Meter cycling and the new City Stamina overflow reserve, Version 1.5 checks the exact quality-of-life boxes PS5 and PC players were hoping for this month.
