Martelo Shield Ram, Brakkesh 2.0, and the AN-94 Rifle: Everything Changing in Delta Force Season Aurora on November 10

With Season Reorientation wrapping up on November 9, Team Jade (TiMi Studio Group) is wasting no time moving onto its next major chapter. Launching on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, Delta Force Season Aurora (the twelfth seasonal update for the tactical shooter) goes live across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile. Detailed during the studio's official Developer Preview livestream, the update brings close-quarters Assault breacher Martelo, a structural overhaul for extraction map Brakkesh 2.0, the flooded coastal Warfare battlefield Zenith Port, the AN-94 assault rifle, and a Phantom Blade Zero crossover.
Martelo (Veronica Cardozo): A Close-Quarters Assault Breacher Built to Smash Chokepoints
After adding an Engineer (N-Two) in Meltdown and a Support specialist (Rover) in Reorientation, Team Jade is reinforcing the Assault class alongside Vyron, D-Wolf, Nox, and Tempest. Real name Veronica Cardozo, the new operator goes by the codename Martelo (Portuguese for "hammer") and can be unlocked for free through the Season Aurora Battle Pass.

Designed to crack fortified rooms and punish static defenders, Martelo brings a four-part breaching kit to both Operations and Warfare:
- Ariete (Active Tactical Skill): Martelo equips a heavy ballistic shield ram and charges forward at high speed to bowl through enemy lines, with the option to cancel the sprint early into a ground slam.
- Smoke Halo (Active Equipment): A dual-mode smoke launcher. Tapping the input deploys three canisters around her in an instant hollow ring of cover, while holding the button fires a single canister at long range to blind distant sightlines.
- HE Grenade (Lethal Ordnance): A classic high-explosive fragmentation grenade on a short fuse for clearing tight corners right after a breach.
- Guerreira (Passive Trait): Grants a temporary boost to both movement speed and reload speed whenever Martelo secures an elimination or drops below a critical health threshold.
Alongside Martelo's debut, Team Jade confirmed new restrictions against same-operator stacking within squads, starting with targeted balance adjustments to Nox when the patch drops.
Operations Mode: Brakkesh 2.0 Overhaul, Bulletproof Glass, and AZ3 Supercritical
For extraction players in Operations, the headline structural change is Brakkesh 2.0. The dense desert-city map has been reworked to strip out frustrating one-way chokepoints and create cleaner flanking routes across high-traffic compounds:
- Central Control Redesign: The rear entrance now features windowed double doors so squads can scout the interior before breaching, ground-floor cover has been streamlined, and the upper floor has been fitted with bulletproof glass.
- New Ocean-to-Medical Connector: Both sectors have been visually decluttered and linked by a brand-new connecting passage that makes rotations far less predictable.
- Faction Missions and Squad Interception: Fresh NPC faction tasks tied to Ahsarah arrive alongside a high-stakes mechanic where a rival player squad on the map can be assigned an active contract to intercept your team mid-mission.
Later in the season, Operations will also introduce the limited-time AZ3 Supercritical challenge. Built around higher entry gear requirements and upgraded loot tables, the mode spawns two potential radiation sources at the start of a raid. As radiation spreads and shrinks the playable zone, your available extraction point shifts depending on which source went critical. Just as importantly, Team Jade reiterated that there is no stash wipe or Tekniq Alloys reset when Season Aurora begins, as only seasonal mission lines and the Season Pass track reset.
Warfare Mode: Dynamic Flooding on Zenith Port and Immersive UI Mode
While competing large-scale shooters have stumbled over progression controversies like Battlefield 6's recent Season 5 XP cap, Delta Force's Warfare mode is doubling down on dynamic map evolution with Zenith Port. Attackers storm this coastal urban map from the water before pushing through city streets toward elevated defensive sectors.
Halfway through a match, Zenith Port's Riptide event triggers, flooding the lower capture objectives and forcing infantry combat up onto the rooftops and elevated walkways. Extended Unreal Engine 5 visual features on the map remain optional in the settings menu so players on mid-range PCs can prioritize frame rates. Warfare also gains a HUD-stripping Immersive Mode, a beacon-targeted artillery barrage strike, and the option to spend extra points for active protection systems on select vehicle airdrops.
AN-94 Assault Rifle, Firing Range 2.0, and Phantom Blade Zero Crossover
On the weapons front, Season Aurora introduces the iconic AN-94 assault rifle, engineered around its signature hyper-accurate two-round opening burst before standard recoil kicks in. Players who enjoy fine-tuning recoil patterns and attachments with the same precision seen in our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 loadout guides will also benefit from Firing Range 2.0. The overhauled practice facility finally lets you trigger operator abilities, swap operators on the fly without backing out to the lobby, and run timed drills against moving targets with live tracking for kills, headshots, and accuracy.
Starting November 10, the Phantom Blade Zero collaboration brings Sanguine, the first two-handed legendary melee weapon in Delta Force, alongside a free Seven Star legendary G3 rifle skin earned through login and match challenges (followed by the White Serpent and Crimson Viper store bundle on November 13). Finally, Team Jade will gradually roll out shared matchmaking between Global and Garena servers map by map to cut queue times, alongside PS5 Pro visual and frame rate enhancements and the console beta launch of round-based mode Detonation on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
My Take
Team Jade is addressing the exact pain points extraction and large-scale shooter players have been vocal about all autumn. Anyone who has lost a stacked backpack in Brakkesh to a squad holding blind corners inside Central Control will immediately appreciate what windowed rear doors and a direct Ocean-to-Medical tunnel do for map flow. Martelo's kit is equally smart: giving the Assault class an instant ring of smoke paired with a shield ram gives aggressive entry fraggers a legitimate tool to break LMG hallway locks without relying on lucky grenade bounces. Add the two-burst AN-94 and a firing range that actually lets you test operator kits on moving targets, and November 10 looks like one of Delta Force's sharpest seasonal updates yet.
