After Passing 300,000 Sales on Switch 2 and PC, Moonlight Peaks Arrives on PS5 This November 17

Moonlight Peaks vampire life simulation magical farm on PlayStation 5

Dracula's family estate is finally opening its wrought-iron gates to Sony's console ecosystem. Dutch independent studio Little Chicken Game Company, alongside publishing partners XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe, officially announced today that Moonlight Peaks will launch digitally on PlayStation 5 on November 17, 2026. The PlayStation Store arrival caps off a breakout summer for the supernatural life-simulation title: since debuting on July 7 across PC (via Steam and Google Play Games), Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, the cozy gothic adventure has surpassed 300,000 units sold worldwide.

A Complete $34.99 PS5 Release With PS Plus Perks and a Two-Hour Trial

Priced at $34.99 on the PlayStation Store, the PS5 edition arrives during a packed stretch of the November 2026 video game release calendar with four months of post-launch polish already baked in. Every quality-of-life improvement and balance patch rolled out on PC and Nintendo platforms since July will be included right out of the coffin on day one.

To sweeten the digital launch window, XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe confirmed two exclusive perks for PlayStation subscribers:

  • A 20% launch discount available to all PlayStation Plus members from November 17 through November 23, 2026.
  • A two-hour game trial unlocking on launch day for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, with full save data and progression carrying over if you decide to buy the full game.

Gothic Farming, Witchcraft, and Midnight Romance as Dracula's Heir

While other dark-leaning farming sims lean into murder mysteries and small-town paranoia, such as Grave Seasons ahead of its August debut, Little Chicken Game Company embraces a warm, whimsical take on the macabre. You step into the boots of Count Dracula's offspring, setting out to prove to your skeptical undead father that a life built on empathy and compassion is possible even for creatures of the night. Starting with a rundown homestead on the outskirts of the magical town of Moonlight Peaks, your goal is to turn the overgrown grounds into a thriving gothic sanctuary.

Daily life revolves around tending more than 70 varieties of magical crops and nocturnal blooms, brewing elixirs at your alchemy station, and customizing your Victorian manor. As you master ancestral spells and shapeshifting powers, you also get to mingle with the seven supernatural families of werewolves, witches, mermaids, and vampires who call the valley home. Over twenty eligible night-dwellers are available to romance, alongside side activities ranging from flower arranging and pub hangouts to mastering the local card game Nokomis.

My Perspective

Dropping on the PlayStation Store on November 17, literally forty-eight hours before the GTA 6 tidal wave hits consoles, takes serious nerve. Yet the more you think about it, the more it works as the ultimate counter-programming sanctuary. Not every PS5 owner wants to spend mid-November pulling off high-speed heists in Vice City: for players who would much rather harvest enchanted pumpkins, decorate a cozy coffin, and flirt with a werewolf under the full moon, this port lands at the exact right moment. Factor in the two-hour PS Plus Premium trial, and plenty of cozy fans are going to get bitten.
