After Parting Ways With ExoTiiK and stizzy, Team Vitality Confirms zen's Exit in Massive RLCS 2027 Rebuild
The conclusion of the RLCS 2026 season has triggered a historic shake-up at the Hive. Following a disappointing 9th-to-12th place finish at the Rocket League World Championship, Team Vitality officially announced that it has parted ways with veteran playmaker Brice "ExoTiiK" Bigeard after two years in yellow and black. That announcement set the stage for a complete dismantling of the roster, including the departure of Spanish starter Gaspar "stizzy" Rosalen Andres and the monumental exit of franchise cornerstone Alexis "zen" Bernier.
Two High-Stakes Seasons for Brice "ExoTiiK" Bigeard at Team Vitality
Signed in October 2024 fresh off his World Championship triumph and tournament MVP performance with Team BDS alongside Monkey M00n, Brice "ExoTiiK" Bigeard arrived at Team Vitality to anchor a new championship contender. Across his two-year tenure with the French organization, ExoTiiK competed in 7 RLCS LAN tournaments, earning widespread respect from his staff and teammates for his tactical discipline and resilience while playing through severe wrist tendonitis.
Teaming up with Alexis "zen" Bernier and Spanish prodigy Gaspar "stizzy" Rosalen Andres under head coach Benjamin "Eversax" Wagner during the 2026 campaign, ExoTiiK helped drive Vitality to several deep international runs. The squad secured a runner-up finish at the RLCS 2026 Boston Major (falling to Gentle Mates in the grand final) and a top-four placement in front of a roaring home crowd at the Paris Major inside Paris La Defense Arena. However, an early exit at the RLCS 2026 World Championship where Karmine Corp, Falcons, and Vitality entered as title contenders ultimately convinced management to hit the reset button. Now a free agent, ExoTiiK is set to compete alongside yujin and Rezears for the upcoming circuit.
A Historic Farewell to zen and Vitality's First Non-French RLCS Roster
ExoTiiK's departure proved to be only the opening chapter of a sweeping offseason overhaul. Along with parting ways with long-time team manager Gauthier Klauss and allowing stizzy to explore his options, Team Vitality officially bade farewell to Alexis "zen" Bernier on October 23, 2026, closing the book on a legendary four-year stint highlighted by the organization's historic 2022-2023 World Championship crown.
Following weeks of intense offseason negotiations surrounding the RLCS transfer battle involving zen and Atow, the French superstar is heading to Gentle Mates to form a blockbuster Francophone superteam alongside former Karmine Corp duo Axel "Vatira" Touret and Tristan "Atow" Soyez. To rebuild for 2027 under returning head coach Eversax, Team Vitality is breaking with tradition by fielding a lineup without a single French player for the first time in its Rocket League history, uniting Oskar "Oski" Gozdowski, Nassim "nass" Bali, and Brazilian standout João "diaz" Henrique.
From the RLCS Pitch to the LEC Rift: Carzzy Explores Options for 2027
The offseason restructuring at Team Vitality extends beyond Psyonix's pitch into its flagship League of Legends division. Coming off a frustrating 2026 LEC campaign that fell short of playoff expectations, Czech botlaner Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság announced that he has been cleared to explore his options on the transfer market ahead of his contract expiration in November 2026, signaling a parallel rebuild for the organization's European MOBA project in 2027.

My Take: The End of a Golden French Era and a Bold International Gamble
Watching both Brice "ExoTiiK" Bigeard and Alexis "zen" Bernier walk out the door in the same week feels like the end of a defining chapter for French Rocket League. Even though back-to-back early exits at Worlds left a bitter taste, I believe ExoTiiK deserves immense credit for battling through painful tendonitis while still helping Vitality reach a Major grand final in Boston and a semifinal on home turf in Paris. Handing the keys over to an international trio of Oski, nass, and diaz without a single French player on the pitch is a massive gamble for Team Vitality, and I cannot wait to see how this new-look lineup measures up against Gentle Mates and Karmine Corp when the 2027 season kicks off.
