Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have unexpectedly released a free playable demo for Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered today. Fans can grab it right now on PC directly via the official Steam store page, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

This surprise demo throws players straight into the historic Battle of Hulao Gate fighting alongside the Allied Forces. It sets the stage for the franchise's most iconic and nerve-wracking showdown against Lu Bu.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the remaster delivers a steady 60 frames per second, crisp character models, and enhanced environmental lighting while faithfully preserving the original PS2 combat physics. The signature driving hard rock soundtrack has also been remastered to deliver hard-hitting battle themes.
Six legendary warriors are immediately playable across the battlefield: Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Xiahou Dun, Zhen Ji, Zhou Yu, and Sun Shangxiang.
