10,000 Animated Objects, Joy-Con 2 Mouse Mode, and 4-Player Co-Op: Cozy Hit Lost and Found Co. Details Its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Lost and Found Co. Nintendo Switch 2 Ducky and Goddess Mei in Plumville

After winning over more than 100,000 players on PC since its March 2026 debut with a 97% Overwhelmingly Positive rating across over 3,000 Steam reviews and a Metacritic score of 90, Thai independent studio Bit Egg Inc. (alongside publisher Gamirror Games) has detailed the upcoming console editions of Lost and Found Co. for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Arriving as a timed console exclusive on the Nintendo eShop, the hand-drawn hidden-object adventure is built around the hardware capabilities of Nintendo's new hybrid system.

Inspired by classic childhood puzzle books, the story follows Ducky, a duck magically transformed into a human boy. Hired as an intern at a supernatural lost-and-found startup run by the long-forgotten Goddess Mei, who is trying to restore her tiny dragon form and former glory, Ducky travels across the vibrant neighborhoods of Plumville to track down missing belongings for its eccentric residents.

Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls, Touchscreen Zoom, and 4-Player GameShare Co-Op

Designed from the ground up as an interactive point-and-click world where nearly every background detail reacts when poked, Lost and Found Co. offers four distinct control and multiplayer options tailored for both TV and handheld play on Nintendo Switch 2:

  • Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls: By sliding the Joy-Con 2 across a flat surface, players can use the controller as a physical mouse pointer to open doors, pull back curtains, and inspect densely packed scenes with desktop-grade precision.
  • Motion Controls: When holding the controllers traditionally, gyroscopic motion aiming guides the on-screen cursor smoothly across the map.
  • Full Touchscreen Support: In handheld mode, players can tap items directly, pinch to zoom into bustling streets, and drag the camera with their fingertips.
  • 4-Player Local and Online Co-Op: Up to four detectives can hunt for missing treasures together on the same console locally or team up online using GameShare via GameChat.

First spotlighted during the October 2026 Nintendo Indie World showcase, Bit Egg Inc.'s title demonstrates how the Joy-Con 2 optical mouse sensor naturally bridges the gap between PC puzzle games and living-room consoles.

My Take

Hidden-object games on consoles often struggle with sluggish analog-stick cursors the moment a scene gets crowded with tiny details. By pairing Joy-Con 2 mouse mode and touchscreen pinching with four-player GameShare co-op, Bit Egg Inc. turns what is usually a quiet solo pastime into a lively couch-and-online treasure hunt. With more than 10,000 clickable animations and overflowing charm, Lost and Found Co. feels tailor-made for the Switch 2 hardware. We have not yet had a physical unit on our desk,if the manufacturer's team would like to send over a review sample so we can put it through our full real-world testing protocol, our lab doors are wide open.
