A Ghost, a Shape-Shifting Dog, and Seven Sins: Waltz and Jam Lands on Switch 2 This December 3

Nintendo of America and independent developer Flyway Games have officially revealed the launch date for Waltz and Jam. The heartwarming 3D action-adventure platformer will release on December 3, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, and PlayStation 5.
Alongside the announcement, an official release date trailer showcases the title's whimsical art direction and cooperative traversal mechanics.

A Poetic Journey Across the Seven Deadly Sins
Waltz and Jam follows the journey of Waltz, an innocent spirit awakening in a mysterious afterlife, alongside his loyal phantom pup named Jam.
To find inner peace and make sense of their existence, the duo must travel through seven distinct realms directly inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, encountering eccentric spirits and environmental hazards along the way.
Shape-Shifting Abilities and Environmental Puzzles
The core gameplay relies on Jam's magical ability to shape-shift into various tools and objects. Players can transform the puppy into a temporary bridge to cross deep chasms, a heavy anvil to trigger floor switches, or offensive weapons to fend off hostile purgatory creatures.
This creative dynamic joins a growing lineup of imaginative titles landing on the Nintendo Switch 2 gaming library as the platform expands its family-friendly adventure catalogue.
Worldwide Release Set for December 3
Waltz and Jam will launch digitally on December 3, 2026 on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop, Steam, and PlayStation 5.
Eager players on PC can already get a first taste of the adventure through a playable demo currently available on Steam.
