Fortnite x Street Fighter Movie 2026: Live-Action Skins, Free Cup, and Item Shop Release Date
Epic Games has officially confirmed the new Fortnite x Street Fighter crossover. Rather than revisiting classic arcade sprites from Capcom, this collaboration brings the upcoming live-action feature film produced by Legendary Entertainment straight into the battle royale.
Global Item Shop Release on Saturday, October 10
The global launch is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM ET in the Fortnite Item Shop. Players worldwide will be able to grab both characters right at the daily store reset.
This major crossover lands during a jam-packed autumn schedule on the island, arriving hot on the heels of the headline-grabbing Fortnitemares 2026 update.
Free Street Fighter Cup Tournament on October 9
Competitive duos will not need to wait or spend V-Bucks to secure early access. Epic Games is hosting the official Street Fighter Cup this Friday, October 9, 2026, across all regional servers.
Top-scoring duos in each competitive region will unlock the Chun-Li outfit and back bling for free ahead of the shop release, continuing the competitive hype seen during the FNCS Global Championship 2026.
Live-Action Outfits Modeled After Callina Liang and Andrew Koji
Both skins ditch traditional comic-book cel shading in favor of photo-realistic models based on the movie cast. Chun-Li features the likeness of actress Callina Liang in her signature blue qipao, accompanied by the Invitation Coin back bling and Nunchaku pickaxe.
Ryu is modeled after British actor and martial artist Andrew Koji, famous for his lead performance in Warrior. The legendary world warrior comes equipped with the Takeout Hadouken back bling, Hado Fists pickaxe, and a battle-damaged dark gi alternate style.
Car Smash Emote and Expected V-Bucks Pricing
Capcom nostalgia also takes center stage with the new Car Smash emote. Players can recreate the legendary Street Fighter II bonus stage anywhere on the map by pummeling a vehicle into scrap metal.
Individual character skins will cost 1,500 V-Bucks each in the shop. Full bundles featuring outfits, back blings, pickaxes, and the emote are expected between 2,400 and 2,600 V-Bucks, with standalone harvesting tools priced between 300 and 800 V-Bucks.
Keep your V-Bucks ready for the store refresh this Saturday at 7:00 PM ET.
