Grotti Cheetah, Police V10 and Zebra Lowrider: Rockstar and West Coast Customs Bring 6 GTA 6 Cars to Real Life

GTA 6 x West Coast Customs : les 6 voitures devant le stade de Vice City

With less than two weeks remaining before Grand Theft Auto VI launches worldwide on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Rockstar Games has taken its promotional campaign off the screen and onto the streets of Miami. The studio contracted legendary Los Angeles automotive shop West Coast Customs to build six full-scale custom cars straight out of GTA 6, photographing each vehicle in Florida at the exact same locations and angles as their digital counterparts.

Unveiled in partnership with Hypebeast (HypeDrive) alongside eight high-resolution captures shared by DiscussingFilm, this showcase arrives just twenty-four hours after Rockstar's 39-screenshot 4K Launch Gallery drop. While our featured cover image above shows the six vehicles rendered inside the GTA 6 engine on rain-slicked Vice City asphalt, the photograph below captures the six real-world West Coast Customs builds parked together in front of the historic Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key:

Interactive Side-by-Side Comparison: GTA 6 In-Game Screenshots vs. West Coast Customs Builds

To see just how closely the RAGE engine's metallic flake shaders, tire sidewalls, underglow lighting, and reflections match real-world photography in Miami, use our interactive selector below to compare all six vehicles side by side:

From the 4.9L V8 Grotti Cheetah to the Vice Beach Police Department V10 Interceptor

For the first time, Rockstar Games and West Coast Customs also published the official mechanical specifications behind each build, detailing exact engine displacements, aspiration, suspension setups, and cabin materials. Four mid-engined sports cars and track weapons headline the high-speed side of the showcase:

  • Grotti Cheetah (4.9L Naturally Aspirated V8): A love letter to 1990s Italian mid-engined supercars (channeling the classic Miami Ferrari Testarossa silhouette), lowered by West Coast Customs on track-ready tires with five-spoke wheels, a custom "Vice City fade" paint job blending turquoise into purple and magenta, and custom-stitched Italian leather inside.
  • Pegassi Tempesta Vice Beach Police Interceptor (4.0L Naturally Aspirated V10): Powered by a flame-spitting 4.0L V10, this pursuit supercar wears a black-and-white Vice Beach Police Department livery with #911 mirror markings, a roof lightbar, red neon underglow, and a fighter-jet-inspired cockpit packed with custom leather and police tech.
  • Progen Emerus (4.0L Twin-Turbo V8): Built for five-star getaways and circuit racing, the Emerus combines fighter-jet aero vents, a loud Candy Orange exterior and matching orange cabin, gold multi-spoke wheels, racing tires, and a massive rear wing.
  • Invetero Coquette (6.2L Naturally Aspirated V8): Packing a mid-mounted 6.2L V8, the Coquette stands out with its flamingo pink, vibrant purple, and teal "Yeti Camo" wrap, lowered suspension, concave black custom rims, and bespoke leather interior.

Zebra-Inlay Lowriders, a 7.7L V8 Donk, and Leonida's Custom Mod Shops

The collaboration also spotlights Florida's iconic street-car culture, mirroring the deep customization options awaiting players inside Leonida garages such as Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's Mod Shop:

  • Albany Buccaneer (1960s Lowrider with a 7.5L V8): Fully restored with a L4Y LOW license plate, this convertible features large-flake Candy Apple Green paint with bespoke airbrushing and pinstripes, gold bumpers, air-ride suspension, gold wire wheels with curb feelers, mahogany wood accents, a gold chain steering wheel, a cream ragtop, and leather seats with zebra-print inlays.
  • Albany Manana (1970s Donk with a 7.7L V8): Stripped down and rebuilt with crisp, straight body panels, the Manana houses the largest engine of the lineup at 7.7 liters. It rides on sky-high lifted suspension over oversized gold-and-chrome rims, finished with gold-plated bumpers, quad headlights, and gold-edged leather upholstery.

My Perspective

You genuinely have to look twice at the Miami Marine Stadium and bayside shots to separate the real-world West Coast Customs builds from the 4K GTA 6 captures. Beyond the clever marketing stunt, putting these cars side by side highlights how far Rockstar has pushed material shaders on current-gen consoles: the metallic flake in the Buccaneer's Candy Apple Green paint, the red neon diffusing off the asphalt under the police Tempesta, and the sunlight bouncing off the Manana's gold rims behave almost identically to real sheet metal. For players who spend hours tuning suspension height and paint finishes in the garage, November 19 cannot come soon enough.
