Vitality in Stage 3, 100 Thieves at the Buzzer, and Fnatic Eliminated: All 32 Teams Qualified for the PGL CS2 Singapore Major 2026

PGL Major Counter-Strike 2 arena stage featuring Team Vitality and FaZe Clan

The official Valve Regional Standings (VRS) cut-off has arrived this Monday, November 2, 2026. Following a chaotic final weekend of LAN tournaments across Europe and the Americas, all 32 teams qualified for the PGL CS2 Major Singapore 2026 are now locked in. Running from November 24 to December 13, 2026, the final Major of the Counter-Strike 2 season puts a $1.25 million prize pool on the line, culminating in the playoffs at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

A Heart-Stopping Final Sunday: 100 Thieves Clinch the 32nd Spot as Fnatic Collapse

Few qualification cycles in Counter-Strike history have delivered as much final-day drama as Europe's race for the last remaining Major invitations. Four contenders entered Sunday with their Major hopes hanging by a thread across three separate LAN finals: Fnatic, Eternal Fire, HOTU, and 100 Thieves.

In Barcelona, Fnatic had one hand on their plane ticket to Singapore after jumping out to a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-five Grand Final of Stake Ranked Episode 5. Instead, Eternal Fire mounted a relentless reverse sweep to take the series 3-2, locking in their own Major berth and leaving Fnatic empty-handed. Hours later in Moscow, HOTU needed a trophy at GLuck Moscow to snatch the final European slot and eliminate 100 Thieves mathematically, only to be shut down 0-2 by Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov and 1win.

Those results handed 100 Thieves one final lifeline in the Grand Final of FiRe Last Chance 2026 against Wildcard (who had already secured their Major spot through the Americas standings). Anchored by veteran legends Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Håvard "rain" Nygaard, 100 Thieves held their nerve through overtime on Cache before dismantling Wildcard on Dust II for a 2-0 victory, claiming the 32nd and final spot at the Singapore Major two seasons into the organization's return to Counter-Strike.

Vitality and MOUZ Headline Stage 3 as s1mple's BC.Game Make Their Major Debut

At the top of the global standings, MOUZ and Team Vitality lead the European charge straight into Stage 3, joined by FURIA, Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming, BetBoom Team, Team Falcons, and Brazilian standout Legacy. For several European hopefuls, however, the autumn VRS grind proved unforgiving, highlighted by Bryan "Maka" Canda and Envy falling short in Belgrade just days before the cut-off.

In Stage 2, heavyweights including G2 Esports, Natus Vincere (NAVI), The MongolZ, and Astralis (who salvaged their top-16 seeding after recalling jabbi late in October) will await the survivors of the opening round. Meanwhile, Stage 1 features a stacked 16-team Swiss bracket where FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, HEROIC, and Ninjas in Pyjamas will clash with two debuting organizations: Brazil's DENDELE (the former Sharks Esports core) and BC.Game, featuring s1mple and Magisk, who secured their berth through the Asia-Pacific VRS standings.

My Take

Say what you want about Valve scrapping the old RMR qualifiers, but nobody can claim the VRS cutoff lacks drama. This final weekend summed up just how ruthless the current system is: while consistent juggernauts like Vitality, MOUZ, and Spirit rest comfortably with direct Stage 3 seeds, Europe's middle tier had to survive an all-out war of attrition across three simultaneous LANs. Watching Fnatic blow a 2-0 Grand Final lead in Barcelona while veteran icons device and rain dragged 100 Thieves through overtime on Cache for the 32nd and final ticket is pure Counter-Strike theater. And with FaZe, Liquid, HEROIC, and s1mple's BC.Game all thrown into Stage 1 right from November 24, Singapore is going to be a bloodbath from day one.
