Upcoming Games in November 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch

Nintendo published its official November 2026 software spotlight for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on October 29. Headlined by the ground-up remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Stellar Blade Complete Edition featuring exclusive Bayonetta outfits, an upgraded Pikmin 4, and Atlus's Metaphor: ReFantazio, nine major releases are set to anchor the platform's pre-holiday schedule.

A Heavy-Hitting Opening Week on November 3 and November 5

November's release wave kicks off on Tuesday, November 3, with Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2. Published by Atari with a 5.0 GB file size on the Nintendo eShop, the revived kaiju arena brawler features 12 playable giant monsters flattening real-world cities and using landmarks as weapons. The Switch 2 release supports HDR, surround sound, local multiplayer for up to four players on a single system, and two-player online battles.

Thursday, November 5, delivers a massive triple header exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 owners. Leading the charge is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (24.5 GB), a full remake of the 1998 classic built with overhauled visuals, a re-orchestrated soundtrack, modernized controls, amiibo support, and HDR compatibility.

Launching alongside Link's return on November 5 is SHIFT UP's Stellar Blade Complete Edition (25.3 GB, with a free playable demo available now on the eShop). In addition to EVE's full base campaign and all previously released downloadable content, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition packs four brand-new outfits inspired by the Bayonetta series. Rounding out the November 5 slate is CDE Entertainment's Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition, which weighs in at 46.3 GB on Switch 2.

Pikmin 4 Voice Commands, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Mid-November Co-Op

The second wave arrives on Thursday, November 12, led by Pikmin 4 (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy). Weighing 11.3 GB, this upgraded release uses the Nintendo Switch 2's built-in microphone so players can issue direct voice commands to their rescue pup, Oatchi. It also introduces the competitive Dandori Academy mode and supports GameShare both locally and via GameChat.

Also launching on November 12 is Atlus and SEGA's acclaimed fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio for Nintendo Switch 2, complete with a free eShop demo so players can test its hybrid real-time and turn-based Archetype combat right away. Meanwhile, party game fans on both Switch 2 and the original Switch can jump into SONIC PICO PARK on the same day, blending Sonic's rings, loops, and springs with up to eight-player cross-platform co-op. Rounding out the back half of the month, Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea arrives as a paid expansion on November 18 across Switch 2 and Switch, transforming players into Merfolk across three new biomes alongside Milo Thatch, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Megara. One day later, on November 19, Nicalis brings The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ to Nintendo Switch 2 (938.0 MB) with four-player online co-op, landing during the same week as Spry Fox's cozy multiplayer life sim Spirit Crossing on November 16.

My Perspective

Nintendo is giving Switch 2 owners zero breathing room ahead of the holiday rush, and the sheer logjam on Thursday, November 5, is wild. Dropping the ground-up remake of Ocarina of Time, Stellar Blade Complete Edition with its Bayonetta crossover outfits, and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on the exact same day is brutal on both wallets and storage space, considering those three downloads alone eat up more than 96 GB.

What stands out to me most in this lineup, though, is how Pikmin 4 uses the Switch 2 hardware on November 12. Calling out commands to Oatchi through the console's built-in microphone and sharing Dandori Academy matches via GameShare is exactly the kind of clever hardware integration that makes a Switch 2 Edition feel worthwhile rather than just a simple resolution bump.
