Marvel Cosmic Invasion: Doctor Doom and Invisible Woman Join the Roster on November 10 in The Siege of Castle Doom DLC

New York Comic Con just delivered a massive shockwave for retro arcade fans. Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games officially announced the second major expansion for their superhero beat'em up, titled The Siege of Castle Doom.
Scheduled to launch worldwide on November 10, 2026, across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, this paid DLC pack introduces Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman into the playable lineup.
Two Contrasting Playstyles Built for Arcade Mayhem
Doctor Doom enters the fray with an aggressive moveset blending Latverian engineering and forbidden sorcery. Victor Von Doom commands heavy long-range mystical blasts, an electromagnetic barrier that deflects oncoming projectiles, and deployable Doombot drones that crowd-control grounded swarms.
Invisible Woman (Sue Storm) marks the first member of the Fantastic Four to enter the game, bringing an agile, control-heavy kit. She can vanish mid-combo to reposition behind elite foes, unleash kinetic force shockwaves, and summon defensive shielding platforms to assist teammates during four-player co-op matches.
The reveal lands amid skyrocketing interest across the superhero sphere, where competitive players frequently jump between arcade brawlers and the hero shooter meta documented in our Marvel Rivals character guides.

Latverian Campaign, Endless Survival Mode, and New Music
Beyond the two headlining fighters, The Siege of Castle Doom introduces an original narrative gauntlet. Players must fight their way across the heavily defended ramparts of Latveria and through cybernetic laboratories crawling with upgraded defenses.
For purists hunting high scores, Tribute Games added an endless arcade survival mode. The feature challenges squads with unending waves of robotic reinforcements and random gameplay mutators, backed by fresh chip-tune tracks composed by Tee Lopes.
My opinion
Tribute Games and Dotemu have mastered modern pixel-art beat'em ups better than almost anyone in the industry. After setting the benchmark with Shredder's Revenge, the Montreal team delivers another love letter to 1990s arcade cabinets.
Allowing players to directly control Doctor Doom alongside classic Avengers and X-Men creates incredible team-up synergy. Castle Doom opens its gates on November 10, 2026, and the couch co-op sessions cannot arrive soon enough.
