Silver Palace Launches Worldwide on December 14 for PS5, PC, and Mobile With a Free 4-Star Character

The wait is nearly over for one of the most striking open-world action RPGs built on Unreal Engine 5. Publisher Elementa and developer Silver Studio (a subsidiary of Happy Elements) have officially announced that Silver Palace will launch worldwide on December 14, 2026. The free-to-play detective adventure will be available simultaneously across PlayStation 5, PC (via standalone client and the Epic Games Store), iOS (App Store), and Android (Google Play).
The release date announcement dropped alongside a brand-new character trailer spotlighting Gratia ("The Foolish and the Brave"), a bunny-eared knight questioning what true chivalry means before charging skyward on her steed, sword in hand, as a sudden storm engulfs the metropolis. With its mid-December rollout, the title locks in one of the final blockbuster slots on the December 2026 video game release calendar.

Silvernia: Victorian Steampunk Intrigue Meets Real-Time Action
While much of the anime action RPG space leans heavily into medieval high fantasy or neon-soaked sci-fi ruins, Silver Palace carves out a distinct identity through Silvernia, an industrialized Victorian metropolis powered by a miraculous mineral known as Silverium. Beneath the city's gilded architecture, rival syndicates, underground cults, and corporate monopolies battle for control over the resource.
Players step into the shoes of The Detective, returning to Silvernia after a three-year absence to unravel bizarre occult crimes and high-society conspiracies. The core gameplay loop blends two distinct pillars:
- On-the-ground detective work: inspecting crime scenes in detail, gathering physical clues, interrogating suspects, and piecing together deductions across Silvernia's diverse districts.
- High-octane real-time combat: swapping seamlessly between squad members mid-combo, triggering cinematic QTE finishers, executing precise parries, and traversing the city's vertical skyline using grappling hooks and flying mounts.
Beyond solving murder mysteries, Silver Studio emphasizes an open-ended urban life simulation where every encounter presents a choice: to mingle, to investigate, to judge, or to fight. Players can even invest in local districts to become a rising property magnate or unwind with their eclectic companions at neighborhood cafés.
Global Pre-Registration Milestones: Up to 20 Pulls and a Free 4-Star Character
To celebrate the opening of global pre-registrations on the official Silver Palace website across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile storefronts, Elementa unveiled a tiered community reward campaign. As sign-up goals are reached ahead of December 14, all players will receive the following bonuses at launch:
- 15 Million Sign-Ups: Ounce x80,000 (standard Silvernia currency).
- 20 Million Sign-Ups: The Science of All Things: Volume III x10 (advanced character progression materials).
- 25 Million Sign-Ups: Simulation Shot x5 (gacha recruitment currency).
- 30 Million Sign-Ups: A free 4-Star Character unlocked for all players.
- 35 Million Sign-Ups: Simulation Shot x10.
- Social Media Milestone (5 Million Followers): An additional Simulation Shot x5, bringing the total to 20 free pulls on day one.
My Perspective
Ever since its first Unreal Engine 5 gameplay reveal, Silver Palace has stood out to me as one of the sharpest-looking projects in the upcoming wave of urban open-world RPGs. Trading the usual post-apocalyptic tropes for a Victorian gaslamp aesthetic gives Silvernia an immediate visual hook, blending classic detective fiction with razor-sharp hack-and-slash animations. Locking in a December 14, 2026 launch is a bold power move by Silver Studio: by dropping right before the holiday break on PS5, PC, and mobile simultaneously, it beats several rival big-budget urban RPGs to the punch. My main question now is whether the crime-solving mechanics retain genuine depth thirty hours in, or if they eventually take a back seat to standard gacha grinding.
