Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls and 40,000 New Words: Zero Parades Director's Cut Hits Switch 2 and PS5 on November 3

Following its acclaimed PC debut earlier this year, ZERO PARADES: Director's Cut is officially bringing its paranoid espionage drama to consoles. During the Galaxies Autumn 2026 Showcase, developer and publisher ZA/UM (the studio behind Disco Elysium) announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version that will launch alongside the PlayStation 5 edition on November 3, 2026, accompanied by a brand-new features trailer.
Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls on Switch 2 and DualSense Integration on PS5
Rather than settling for a barebones port, ZA/UM has tailored both console releases around each system's hardware capabilities as the game joins the November 2026 game release calendar. On Nintendo Switch 2, players will be able to take advantage of Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, offering pointer precision across dense dialogue trees and environmental investigations.
The Switch 2 edition also supports full touchscreen navigation in handheld mode alongside HD Rumble 2 across both docked and portable play. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 5 version delivers native 4K visuals, 3D Audio, and dedicated DualSense wireless controller support, using adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and the built-in controller speaker to heighten the psychological tension of fieldwork.
40,000 Words of New Writing, The Quisach Roundabout, and Backstage Mode
Originally released on Steam as ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies in May 2026 before receiving its free Director's Cut upgrade on PC on October 1, the expanded edition comes bundled out of the box on PS5 and Switch 2. It adds roughly 40,000 words of new writing to the tri-factional struggle inside the city-state of Portofiro, where players step into the shoes of burned-out secret operant Hershel Wilk (cryptonym CASCADE).

Headlining the narrative additions is a new Dramatic Encounter titled The Quisach Roundabout, which sees Hershel and her old ally Ramses trapped driving in circles aboard a hijacked tuk-tuk while intensely high. The update also introduces a Backstage Mode narrated by art director Kaspar Tamsalu, giving players an interactive tour through early level iterations, cut content, and behind-the-scenes development stories.
Revised Full English Voice Acting and Psychological Conditioning
Alongside new stat-altering outfits and user interface refinements, ZERO PARADES: Director's Cut features complete and revised English voice acting across its eccentric cast of international bankers, foreign techno-fascists, psychic doppelgängers, and paranoid television hosts. Core tabletop-inspired mechanics remain front and center, from Conditioning (turning aspects of Hershel's fractured identity into active skills) to managing in-theatre Pressures like Fatigue, Anxiety, and Delirium when pushing dice rolls through Exertion.
Console players won't have to wait long to test their nerves: ZERO PARADES: Director's Cut launches digitally on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 3, 2026.
