Mafia: The Old Country and Dino Crisis 2 Headline PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium for October
Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially revealed the complete lineup of games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium for October 2026. All newly announced titles will become available for active subscribers to download starting Tuesday, October 20 across PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Mafia The Old Country and Day One Co-op Headline Extra Tier
The undisputed headliner of this autumn drop is 2K Games' highly anticipated Mafia: The Old Country on PS5. The gripping narrative action-adventure immerses players in the brutal criminal underworld of early 20th-century Sicily, chronicling the origins of organized crime. For players eyeing visual fidelity, the studio confirmed full native 60 FPS support and dynamic 4K presentation. Alongside it, Horizon Forbidden West makes a triumphant return on both PS5 and PS4, giving newcomers the ideal opportunity to join Aloy across the dangerous frontier on the PlayStation ecosystem.
Co-op enthusiasts will also want to keep a close eye on Mycopunk for PS5, a frantic, fast-paced squad action shooter pitting survivors against bizarre hordes of mutant fungi, launching straight into the service on Day One. The Extra library is further bolstered by Bandai Namco's expansive JRPG edition Tales of Arise , Beyond the Dawn Edition (PS5, PS4), toy-factory survival horror Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 (PS5, PS4), handcrafted claymation adventure The Midnight Walk (PS5), and high-speed two-wheel racing in Monster Energy Supercross 25 (PS5).

Dino Crisis 2 Returns with Trophies on Premium Classics
PlayStation Plus Premium members receive two standout additions in the retro Classics catalog. Capcom's iconic PS1 dinosaur survival-action masterpiece Dino Crisis 2 lands on PS5 and PS4, fully enhanced with modern rendering filters, custom save states, instant rewind, and a dedicated PlayStation trophy list. Capcom's prehistoric thriller also benefits from customizable control bindings, letting modern players bypass the clunky tank controls of early 2000s survival classics with ease. It is joined by theme park management classic RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition (PS5, PS4), bundling the beloved base simulation alongside both its Soaked! and Wild! expansions.
My Take
This October drop is seriously stacked and delivers exactly what subscribers have been waiting for. Snagging Mafia The Old Country right out of the gate is an enormous win for the Extra catalog, and seeing Dino Crisis 2 finally join the Classics roster with proper trophy support will delight retro Capcom purists. Special shoutout to Mycopunk dropping Day One, which is tailor-made for explosive co-op sessions just in time for Halloween.
