Following more than two years of Early Access development on Steam, Enshrouded will celebrate its official launch on October 15, 2026. The milestone release arrives simultaneously on PC and PlayStation 5, marking the franchise's console debut.

PC builders and PS5 players will step together into the Shroud this October with all technical improvements, expanded biomes, and combat reworks refined throughout the early access roadmap.
However, Xbox Series X and Series S owners will have to wait a little longer. Keen Games announced that the Xbox console edition has been pushed back to spring 2027.
The development team explained that additional time is required to ensure optimal performance across Microsoft hardware, especially addressing memory optimization for the custom voxel engine on Xbox Series S.

Beyond graduating from Early Access, the flagship highlight of update 1.0 is Sparkworks. This brand-new interactive creator suite dramatically expands the sandbox potential of Embervale.
Rather than building purely aesthetic castles, players can now construct custom dungeons complete with interactive logic systems, lethal hazards, pressure plates, and intricate puzzles to challenge other Flameborn.
