FNAF: Into the Pit and DOOM (2016) Headline Amazon’s 10 Free PC Games for October 2026
Amazon has officially unveiled its full lineup of free PC games for October 2026 through the Luna gaming platform. The service that integrated Prime Gaming is delivering a stacked horror selection ahead of Halloween.
Unlike PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass monthly library rotations, where access disappears the moment a subscription expires, Amazon delivers permanent digital redemption codes across GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Amazon Games App. Once claimed, these games remain in your personal PC library forever.
Available Right Now: FNAF: Into the Pit and DOOM (2016)
The first wave of October is already live for Prime members. Headlining the rollout is Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit on the Epic Games Store.
As excitement around Freddy Fazbear's universe peaks following recent crossovers featuring Scottgames animatronics, Oswald's time-traveling 16-bit retro horror adventure from Mega Cat Studios has earned critical praise for its tense atmosphere and eerie pizzeria lore.
Joining the launch lineup is id Software's acclaimed reboot DOOM (2016) via a DRM-free GOG code. Powered by Mick Gordon's iconic industrial metal soundtrack, the demon-slaying shooter remains one of the finest modern FPS experiences to add to your permanent collection.
Full October 2026 Release Schedule and Redemption Platforms
Amazon is staggering game releases across five consecutive Thursdays throughout October to keep PC players stocked all month long.
Here is the complete schedule of free PC titles and their redemption storefronts :
- October 6 (Live Now): Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit (Epic Games Store) and DOOM (GOG)
- October 8: Conarium (GOG) and WarBreeds (GOG)
- October 15: Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong (Epic Games Store) and Caravan SandWitch (Amazon Games App)
- October 22: Ad Infinitum (Epic Games Store) and Time Travel: Escape Room Game (Legacy Games)
- October 29: Trash Goblin (Epic Games Store) and Kiborg (Amazon Games App)
The second half of the month leans heavily into psychological horror with the WW1 trenches of Ad Infinitum and political bloodlines in Swansong. Meanwhile, indie standout Caravan SandWitch provides a cozy, post-apocalyptic narrative break through contemplative exploration.
Two Major Titles Join the Luna Standard Cloud Catalog
In addition to downloadable PC games, Amazon Prime members enjoy streaming access on Luna Standard without paying extra. October adds two high-profile titles to the cloud rotation: Star Wars: Galactic Racer and Sonic X Shadow Generations.
Both games can be streamed instantly across PCs, smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs without any hardware strain or storage management.
Last Chance to Claim September's Free Games
With October's wave rolling out, September's free titles will start disappearing over the coming days. Any games claimed before they rotate out will stay in your library permanently.
Subscribers have a final window to grab DOOM Eternal alongside High on Life, Botany Manor, and Rims Racing before they leave the claims portal.
Head to the Amazon Luna claims hub to connect your digital storefront accounts and secure your free keys before each window closes.
