From Boltgun and Vampire Survivors Creators: Warhammer Survivors Launches November 10 With Playable Demo
A surprise announcement just shook the gaming community today. Auroch Digital, the studio behind the hit retro shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, officially unveiled Warhammer Survivors.
The collaboration is massive. Developed in close partnership with Games Workshop and poncle, the mastermind behind Vampire Survivors, this reverse bullet-hell brings grimdark action to pixel art.
Warhammer Survivors will launch on November 10, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PC, and mobile platforms for $7.99 / €7.49.
Over 40 Champions Across 40K and Age of Sigmar
Unlike most licensed adaptations, Warhammer Survivors unites both flagship settings under one roof. Players will fight across the ash plains of Aqshy and the cramped metallic corridors of derelict Space Hulks.
The roster boasts over 40 distinct playable heroes. Favorites include Malum Caedo, the unstoppable Sternguard Veteran from Boltgun, alongside Stormcast champion Neave Blacktalon.
Today's trailer also debuted Morvenn Vahl in full pixel glory. Piloting her ornate Paragon Warsuit, the High Abbess shreds waves of Tyranids and Plague Marines with the Fidelis Heavy Bolter.
Signature Weapon Evolutions and Free PC Demo
The Mortal Realms side introduces Lyssa Revenya, a cunning thief from Cinderfall. Her signature grapple hooks pull enemies together before summoning the vengeful ghost of Rhea to wipe the screen.
Weapons feature wild evolutions drawn straight from tabletop lore. Players can combine chainswords, missile launchers, and even pots of Citadel Nuln Oil paint to survive endless swarms.
